Lasagna House, the oh-so-good restaurant we got take-out from in Sugar Land

We recently traveled to Houston (really, Sugar Land) with our two little boys and at the end of a long, busy day, nothing sounded better than getting everyone back to the hotel room to crash. But, we all still had to eat. Our solution? Grabbing take-out from the nearby restaurant that looked oh-so-good (Lasagna House) and bringing it back to the room. But we quickly learned that unless you have a large suite with a dining table and kitchen, this is no way to dine. A typical hotel room just doesn’t have the extra space for feeding a family of four comfortably. Half of us were on the bed, the other half sharing the desk chair with our meal spread out all over the crowded desk…and dessert? Well, by then the kids were passed out so my husband and I practically ate it in the dark. The food was delicious but we were beyond frustrated while we were eating. So, when you are staying in a standard hotel room, just say no to take-out. Just take the extra few minutes to sit down at the restaurant and eat. You’ll be much more comfortable and have zero mess to deal with afterwards.
