As soon as you put your bags down in your hotel room (or your bellman does), take a look around and see if there is anything you need the front desk to help you with and call them right away. Whether you need more towels, need to have a light bulb changed, or (god forbid) have a plumbing problem, make the request immediately with the front desk and then head out on your adventures. This way when you return, everything will be to your liking and you won’t have to wait around for assistance before rushing off to dinner or the theater or wherever the night takes you.
