Miami can spoil you pretty quickly by adding magic to just about every event in your life…even your yoga class. Usually, I have to take a pass on most of these fun activities as they’re often located on Miami Beach…which tends to be a wee bit difficult to get to when you’re a mama in the suburbs, 30+ minutes away (thank you, Miami traffic). Still, I’ve been majorly focused on improving my health and wellness this year and I’m making it happen…just in my not-so-magical living room at 6 a.m. But OHM my gosh…

Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, August 10th, at 7 PM there will be a Rooftop Yoga and Sunset Meditation class in Coral Gables! Exercise and ambiance? I’m so in.
The Westin Colonnade, Coral Gables has teamed up with Upstairs Yoga, a Gables yoga studio, and JoJo Tea, a Coral Gables tea house to host the first installment of this new monthly series of Rooftop Yoga & Meditation at the beautiful Westin Colonnade rooftop pool. Here you can practice your Ashtanga and Mysore yoga for an hour followed by an exclusive tea tasting and ending the evening with a brief meditation to energize the the mind, body, and spirit.
