Travel Tip: Tell Everyone Where You’re Going
By Ashley Vaccarino On September 29, 2011 · Leave a Comment · In Before You Leave, Planning Your Trip, Travel Tips
Whether you’re headed to a new city or even to one you’ve been to a million times (ugh, that place again), start spreading the word on where you’re headed at least a month before you leave. Email friends, family, and, most importantly, people who live in or are quite familiar with your destination. Chances are you’ll get at least one great recommendation that you haven’t heard of before or read about in those travel books you bought. Sometimes, a great room in the hottest hotel, the perfect blouse from that cute boutique, the view from the secret beach, or the latest exhibit from the modern art museum can make all the difference.
